I'm from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As far as I'm concerned, all I know is that Tiesto is an . A friend of mine was chatting with him before a party here in Toronto (Wintergalactic 2001) and Tiesto said something by the likes of, "Oh great, now I got to go and spin for some stupid raver kids." And my friend was in total shock and then her friend told Tiesto off. I kid you not. I wasn't there, but I'm not surprised by some of these DJs attitudes! Yeesh!
On a lighter note, I heard Armin was a really nice guy and when he came to Toronto in Nov 2001, he wouldn't stop signing autographs for people during his set! Oh, and I so can't wait to see him perform live on April 13th here! Armin, if you read this, let me just tell you that you have alot to be proud of. :D |

err in tiestos defence when i saw him here in perth he was signing autographs and to everyone he seemed like a really nice guy noone got to talk to him but he ing signed WHILE he was spinning and took this guys mix cd and said hed listen to it and all it was awsome he even played southern sun for me!!!

| a month ago at the gold coast 2tribes event tiesto signed and gave away his last vinyl he spun be4 picotto. Some lucky bastard in the front up against the stage to the right :< I was on the left and right up the front.....if only...... |

I'm sure there are a lot of big name djs that poke their head in here. This is one of the largest trance communities out there and they probably like to keep an eye on it.
Although they probly don't bother coming in this forum, just the music ones...
My friend is a HHC producer/dj and always hung out on happyhardcore.com, well it just so happens that guy that runs that site is actually an agent...he liked my friend's stuff and a year later he's had something like 6 of his own releases (hhc and trancecore) and co-produced with some of the really big names in the hardcore scene.
Just because you're an amateur doesn't mean you're not good...a lot of people in the business realize this and constantly troll these kind of websites looking for talent. |

y'know what though? I'm really involved in my local scene here, doing parties, co-hosting a radio show, everyone I know including my boyfriend is a dj or live pa and I've heard every single one of them say stuff like that before too. Sometimes you just have a bad night and the last thing you want is to see some smiling doped up kids dancing in front of you...it happens to everyone. |

i agree, I know all of us have that sometimes, and the DJ's are people too.. so they are allowed bad days as well... |

I´m to lazy to read all the posts so somone might have mentioned this before. A few weeks back I was in the (IMO lame) chat room when all off the sudden many people was so convinced that this one guy was Johan Gielen .
I belive this also reading the chat and hearing others stories about it... |
