hello everybody!!
whassup??

i am planing to buy a set of mixer and tt's.
i've already decided about the tt's: sl-1210mk2
but not on the mixer.
i searched for a mixer online and i bumped into the:
vestax pcv 150, can someone tell me, is it good?
it has no kill switches, are they nessacery?
what are the disadvantages of the mixers, and what are its advantages?
please give me ideas for other mixers, or support my opinion of buying this mixer, please consider that i live in israel and that the price here is very expansive!!!!
thanks

personally.. i've been told to stay away from vestax solely becuase you are paying so much for the name brand, they are good mixers but they tend to break quickly and they cost a lot to fix, if you got a cheaper mixer, it wouldn't cost that much to fix, kill switches are fun, i don't have them on my mixer but my friend has kills and i use them all the time, they are not a necessary function but if you can find a mixer close to the same price range you might as well get them..

You might want to start with a cheaper alternative if you're just starting out.. for a price of a PCV 150, you can actually get better ones, like the Kam KMX300 for example. Gemini mixers are generally cheap and serves its purpose too. Vestax mixers are good, but you are really (I agree on this one) paying for the brand name.
