Hi,
Anybody here who is capable to remove a click/pop without losing audio quality in following audio clip. You will hear the annoying click between the 5 and 6 second mark at the end of the reverse FX. Following small audio clip is from the full version.
Here is the audio clip: http://users.skynet.be/soundfiles/escape.mp3
The track is "Escape" by Airbase. If you can restore it, I can upload the full track for you if you want. Just let me know in the reply or send me a private message! There is only this one click in the entire track and it's at an annoying place (just before the build up), so I really want it gone! Thanks to annybody who can help with this cause I have no experience with audio restoration, removing clicks, etc.. so I hope somebody here has.
UPDATE 01/05/06: the pop/click still isn't fixed and I am disappointed almost nobody wants to help with this! Well, Nexus6 did fix it (Nexus6, check out private messages), but he hasn't been on the forum anymore so I really need somebody else who can fix it! If you can, post a reply or send me private message and I will send you the full track I have from vinyl! I really want this click gone! Airbase says the click is in the original, however I have a mixed CD without it, so now I also want if fixed in the full version I have of this track from vinyl! Thanks to anybody who can still help out with this! -- END OF UPDATE
Thanks!! :) |

| I honestly can't hear anything ... if it bothers you that much though try buying the WAV from Beatport? |

I can hear it very clear on my monitors! It's just before the 6 second mark in the audio file above at the end of the reverse FX.
Turn up the volume of your speakers perhaps! It is really there (and not in the version I have on mixed CD)!
Nobody who is capable to clear that click please?! |

| tried that and i still can't hear it! ... looking at the WAV view it looks like there's a spike though ... have you tried manually redrawing it in something like Cool Edit? |

I personally can't hear the click myself, If it is there then it must be barely audible...I've listened to it on wharfedale monitors too!
anyway I have removed the spike from around 6 seconds, have a listen to it then let me know if it's gone or not.:D

I can hear it, it's the main synth that causing it, and in my headphones it's just in the right ear...
Why do you need to get rid of it? It's not that annoying, I would never thought about it if i wasnt listening for it... |
