Chillout song from the 90s, played on MTV+The Phantom Blot??

Hello... joined for just one question. It's a ten pointer, though. Here we go:
i remember, maybe around the middle of the 90s, there was this chillout song that was played occasionaly, on the nights on MTV.
It was a chill out tune i guess, anyway, it was a slow going song, with some kind of snare-drum sound played with a drum brush i think - it wasn't much more then that in the song(well, allmost)! Then in the video, that was animated, there came out a cartoon figure kinda like The Phantom Blot and he did the "victory" sign with his forefinger and middle finger.
Does anybody know what song i'm talking about? Thanks in advance. :toocool: |

No, it 's not that one at all. It's a couple of years earlier, and much "darker". I think there was a special program on mtv that was called "chillout" where they played this kinds of songs. Not at all Air - Sexy boy.

You're talking about MTV's "Amp"? That was a good show. I saw them play the video for DHS - The House Of God a few times, and that has some little animated figures moving around and stuff. The whole video is animated. Pretty minimal-sounding song, mostly percussion. Darker, as you said. I don't think there was a peace sign involved, though.
Could that be it?

| That's a crap video to House of God. The UK video is brilliant- it's a spoof of those Christian phone in shows, where this old guy is dancing around the studio to the tune performing "miracles" and raking in the money. |
