actually just went to go see it;
never played the games, but was with someone who did: half of it is just like the game, the other half doesn't make any sense
since i didn't play the games, i was lost the whole way through.
nice cheap movie to go see to waste 2 hours though |

| well i went to go see it and it was ok. I thought it was going to have more scary scenes. It had some drama mama there too. |

| I never played the game and I enjoyed the movie very much. If you have a short attention span and are more of a "get to the ing point already" type of moviegoer, you're going to hate this movie. It's so confusing and non-linear. I was frustrated as I watched it, but at the end, it came together nicely and felt more rewarding at the end. Very good special effects and cinematography in my opinion. It feels and looks a lot like Resident Evil 1 and 2, Texas Chainsaw, with a few grains of SAW. I haven't enjoyed a movie in a really long time but this one I enjoyed it very much. It's better then all the crap out there or coming out for the next month that's for sure. |

seems like its given some pretty good reviews on IMDB.com...and the people who review on their can be pretty damn critical.

I haven't played the games so I have no interest in seeing the movie. When I get around to playing the games I might check out the movie. |

| If you like SAW, I think you'll enjoy this. Most of my friends didn't even know it was based on a game and they all thought it was wicked. Typically, they prefer lighter movies so I was surprised. |
