Like the whole ATB - No Silence CD.. something that is really calm and mellow.. and could help you relax.. When I just wanna chill I often listen to the No Silence CD.. Also think the "BT - The Only Constant Is Change" song is really chill too.
Some other examples (well these ones to me are very relaxing..)
4 Strings - Diving (Cosmic Gate Vocal Mix)
Gareth Emery - Purple Haze €“ Adrenaline
Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes (Armin Van Buuren Universal Religion Remix)

wanna buy a clue?
if you want music to relax to why don't you get some chillout/downtempo/ambient or whatever similar genre music. there's loads and loads and millions of it out there. the list is endless.
I do wonder how you relax to Cosmic Gate and Gareth Emery. please enlighten me :happy2: |

Cosmic Gate.. I know it has its intense moments.. but the vocalist sounds very soothing in parts of the song, and at 2:32 the audio that plays and the build up I'm listing to feels good and if I'm laying down with my eyes closed I just sorta become relaxed.. though some parts of the song are not that relaxing. and with the Gareth Emery.. well I have trouble describing the audio.. Just sends me in a "TRANCE" state of mind.. lol.. I just float to that song :D
and thanks for the chillout/downtempo/ambient suggestion. Is there any other type of trance that is designed for you to relax/chill to like the ones you suggested. NEway I'll look those up. |

well chillout/downtempo/ambient music doesn't really have anything to do with -trance- music, well perhaps except when it's a chillout version of a trance track or a genre-crossing ambient-trance track or whatever, but you see my point. i hope.
i don't think there is any kind of trance specifically designed for one to relax to, i mean if you can relax to cosmic gate or gareth emery.. then you can probably relax to music by similar artists or by listening to a radio show by Armin van Buuren or so.. c g and emery's music usually bring me in a state of having the urge to break people's legs to speak for myself.. but that's just personal
stuff like Salt Tank - Eugina or Solar Stone - 7 Cities should be "soothing" trance by your standards? like warm mellow sun ibiza (whatever) music that is also trance music |

i like the first 3 in search of sunrise cd's for this purpose. just turn on the ipod, lay down and there ya go :)
especially the first track from isos 1, the reachers of civilisation is just brilliant, the guitar is awesome |
