Bumped for relevence.
My dad was a meeting planner (He recently retired). I asked him what kind of things we could look forward to if we tried to plan this as a group. Because the event is so close, we might not get as good of a rate, but the more rooms we promise to fill, the better of a rate we pay. If we dont fill all the rooms we say we will, we still pay, for at least one night. That means only people who are going for sure.
This might be a good idea if we can sell a minimum of 25 rooms. That would give us half a floor on a multistory downtown hotel. |
