[Review] DFuse and Robbie Rivera Spundae 04/22/06

What an insane night! Went to Spundae to see Robbie Rivera because I had read some great reviews, but DFuse stole the show....complete with full drum set, MC and an electric guitarist and off the hook tracks!
I wasn't sure about all this at first, but it really worked! Wasn't too into Robbie's set though, a little too Madonna-style pop for me. Spundae was packed well after DFuse's set ended, but a lot of people must have went to Avalon for Sasha then, or with me to the back room for Swedish Egil instead.
Upstairs was jammed the whole night too, was an excellent night with even better music!

I agree. DFuse really stole the show!!!
Having Mike on the Gutair and him playing the drums and the MC is really cool! It is Different. I normaly do not like MC's but the one DFuse has is not over bearing. He is really smooth.
After DFuse was done It was time to mingle and check up the loft where Eric was throwing down some nice hard Trance tunes. I also Checked out the Back room where Swidish was throwing down the "Top 40" stuff but non the less great tracks :D :D

d;fuse does it every where he goes...he steals he show! now that he has the band, there are not too many acts that can follow him.

The vibe at spundae was kinda strange to me saturday night.:nervous: It just wasn't the fun happy go lucky vibe i usually get when I go there. I\We got there around 10:30 the Upstairs was PACKED!!:eyes: The Main room and backroom were pretty lacking at that time.
Im sad I missed AJ and Chris...sorry guys!
When D:fuse got on......HOLY !! I seen him in Miami, so there was no missing him here!!!

AMAZING! I loved the drums, the MC, the guitar! The music was rocking for sure..just stuff that MAKES you move!!!!!! :tongue2
I was alittle annoyed with the ass grabbers and people just pushing through like I wasn't even there!:whip:
By 2am..I was ready to go home..... but...had to stay to catch Robbie..
Robbie came on...I guess I wasn't feeling him too much. I went back and forth to all the rooms multiple times trying to catch a glipse of everyone's set..
I went to check out Eric upstairs... GREAT JOB!! Highlight was watching him put down his last track then coming out from behind the decks to dance to it with us!!!!!!!:happy2:
Swedish Egil always tears it up!! I Love that guy!! You know you're gonna have a good time listening to him! He plays great tracks, has fun doing it... good times!
D:fuse stole the show!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see him again!!
