| Yes it's me with yet another computer related problem. But this one is really really bad. A couple of months ago i bought a set of speakers...Logitech X-530 5.1 surround sound. I installed them properely, but only the 2 front speakers and the bass worked. And now NOTHING WORKS!! :whip:  So i can't listen to music. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I was listening to music...it wasn't even very loud...and then all of a sudden the sound just stopped. So far, I restarted my computer and replugged everything in the back of it. Nothing is happening and i need my music! Any help would be great!! |

your speakers are probably fine, so i wouldn't jump to that first.
Things to try:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Volume Control
double check that nothing is muted, and your volume isn't at zero.
un-install your soundcard (through windows) and re-install with new drivers from the manufacturer's website.
if that doesn't work, replace your soundcard with a new one. They are uber-cheap, and an easy install. |
