I love how so many TAs would buy the fanciest cars ever and a whole bunch of them...
Im not even sure if id go nuts and buy one uber fancy one.
im just a simple man when it comes to cars. dont like fancy.
I love to buy myself a nice split-level though somewhere in the area.
and id buy myself a place in toronto too so when im down there partying!

If I was filthy rich:
The obvious first, take care of my family, and those close to me, and make sure they were set for life.
Take off...to somewhere, and not return for years. See the world, experience different cultures, while all the time being sheltered from them by a shell of money, of course. Thereafter, nice car, condo, house, the usual things to pass time by. |

give a bunch of money to family and friends.
buy a few houses/condos/lofts/ places to live in general around the world.
finish fixing up my car and start some new project cars.
buy a nice fleet of porsches, older ferrari's, and other exotics.
and do lots and lots of partying.
hell if i was really filthy goddamn rich i could possible pay for the TOTAs who want and can go to a large event in europe to see PVD and other DJ's. all they need to bring is travel money.
then i would go do some crazy adventure like drive from japan or somewhere fast east to the very west of europe or something in a porsche.:toocool: :D :D |

MMmm FILTHY rich! :eyes: Here's what I would do:
1. Pay off all my debts mostly my student loan
2. Give a few million to my friends/family
3. Spend 2 years travelling all over the world and not working
4. Open up my own business;probably a nightclub & restaurant in one and a chain of lingerie stores. All my employees would be given money to go on a trip for 1 week anywhere in the world that they wish.
5. Buy houses in Vancouver, Toronto, one in South America, Amsterdam, Italy, Beirut (so I could live near my best friend), Bora Bora, Monaco etc..all the houses would be overlooking the ocean
6. Give all my friends a make-over;hire the best hairdressers, makeup artists and wardrobe stylists
7. Give a few million to charity and build some shelters for abused children/women
8. Buy a brand new car complete with the best sound system..don't know what model because I don't know a lot about cars.
9. Take a trip to Churchill to see the polar bears
10. Buy tons of animals and my own farm: A few horses, Labrador Retrievers, cats, rabbits
11. Throw the biggest wedding party for my best friend
12. Buy a yacht
13. Go clothes shopping/shoe shopping ..oh Gawd all the shoes I could buy!..Gucci, Chanel, etc
14. Invest the left-over cash
15. Throw a party and invite all my fave dj's and bands |

When you are filthy rich, it's much easier to become even more rich. Having a critical mass of capital at your disposal is indispensible!
I would also invest into such businesses.. maybe start a small credit union or financial services institution.
Of course I would donate a portion to worthy charities. I would give hardly anything to my friends and family (I would take them out and get the tab, but I wouldn't lavish them with houses or cars or whatnot). One exotic car, one daily driver, one house for myself and one vacation house for the family. |
