The UK club scene at the moment!WOW!

I cant believe how good the UK club scene has been over the last few months...and it looks to get better!
I am a bit of a Gatecrasher freak but i also enjoy goin to other clubs and venus such as Godskitchen and Passion. I remember goin to Gatecrasher for the first time this time last year and my how the line-ups have changed!last year was pretty poor with one good lineup in every 4 (in my opinion) but this year is amazing!
For example, just bewteen Godskitchen (GK) and Gatecrasher (GC), in the next month you can see:
8th feb - Tiesto 6hr (GK)
9th feb - Armin 4hr (GC)
16th feb - Ferry Corsten (GC)
22nd feb - Scott Project, Dumonde (GK)
23rd feb - Scott Project (GC)
2nd March - Scot Bond (GC)
8th March - Armin, Marco V, Corsten (GK)
9th March - Timo Maas, Max Graham (GC) + Carnival at GK with Judge Jules /Tall Paul / John Kelly/ Armin Van Buuren/
Ferry Corsten/ Signum
16th March - Tiesto (GC)
13th April - GC @ NEC!! too many DJs to list!!Including tiesto,PVD,scott project,picotto!

Tall Paul is pants.....i would not list him.
Looks like GC and GK are having a war with bringing in big name deejays. Good for the crowd and the punters. Enjoy it ppl. |

| Having just returned from seeing Mauro do an awesome 6 hours (well 6 and a half...he didn't wanna stop) at Gatecrasher...I'm inclined to agree. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Sure other countries may have bigger parties or better lineups (not many tho), but at the end of the day it's the UK clubbers that do it for me. It's all about the atmosphere. |

yeh dumonde do around 3-4 uk gigs per month thsi year as well so it keeps me happy :)
and yeh as spad said its the uk clubber sthat make it a more unique and welcoming experience! |

hmm nice , but picotto is the only dj which is worth seeing =P
he's the only one who has understood what kind of music that owns everything else (almost though, because he plays som cheezy crap too) :D:D :D :D :D

heheh, more like GC does one thing and GK copy it..
GC summer sound system, 2 months later > GK global gathering
GC 'from holland with love', 2 weeks later > GK dutch night
GC red/black classics night, 1 week later > GK classics night
GC re-opening free entry night, 1 week later > GK free night
GC book dj scot project for 23rd feb, 4 weeks later > GK book scot project for 22nd
oh dear, how they wish they were gatecrasher...
yes theres lots and lots and lots and lots of amazing line-ups everywhere for the next few months.. but it has always been the same :)
and yes, i think it has a lot to do with the clubbers.. a good party is not all about size at all. i remember one of the best atmospheres ive ever experianced was in a near empty gatecrasher (cant have been 500 ppl there).. sandra collins... oh my god :D |

Oh well, the compitition between the two is making a better club scene for all. But it is kinda gay on how much it seems they are copying GC. I didn't really notice how drastic it was. |
