Ahmet just wanted to let you know something...sorry this will piss you off more but...
The sunglasses might not be covered by your car insurance. I know here in Toronto, they totally punked me off when my car got jacked. The theif took my case of 40 cds (I actually came really close to shedding a tear from the built up anger or helplessness I don't know) and my case for my RayBans, not to mention the amp, subwoofer and CD player. The insurance will only cover stuff bolted or attached directly to the car...ie a stereo properly secured to the vehicle. The glasses and CDs have to be claimed through your home insurance on a seperate claim...therefore you gotta pay two deductibles...the iron fist wins again. You are the victim and the insurance companies totally give you the shaft by making you pay two dedcutibles and then raising your rates because your car is more of a risk.
Then only thing I could laugh about relating to my breakin was that I wore the Ray Bans a few days before the breakin...and I forgot to put them back in the case. They were in my desk at work...hehe. I was looking for a pen a few days later and saw my glasses and let out the heartiest laugh...haha sucka! He stole an empty case.
Anywayz check it out, you mayhave to make two seperate claims... |
yea insurance companies suck... im just lucky that i found a place that sells my camera for $900, while i can get it for $400 refurbished
damn $500 deductibles |

I got a friend who studied Law, im gonna get him to check out the policy... See what he thinks... i red it and it doesnt write anything about not paying for stolen goods... Man i hate theives, i hate insurance companies, if i cant claim this, why do i have insurance??? What NEXT???? :whip: :whip: :whip:

Sorry to hear about that DJAhmet, the same happened to me last May right in front of my apartment. It was raining that night and no one hear the alarm. On top of that it was supposed to be my 1st day at a new job....
The bastards broke into my car, took all my stereo equipment, cds, side blinkers (!!!), car manual and registration. They even scratched a bunch of on the dash and also cut some of my leather seats.
But I think that the biggest thieves are the insurance companies...on top of having to shell out a $500 deductible (which had to come out of my stereo money), they raised my insurance $600 a year just for that incident!!
Sometimes I wish I would have caught them doing it, but then again I would have probably gotten shot trying to stop them.
Good luck with the insurance.. |

Fark dude, i guess there are always worse cases than your own, thats y u gotta look below you, not above u.... always see the worse of things, only then can we appreciate what we have.
Leather seats getting slashed... :whip: thats its self makes me cry... damn dude, i might buy a paint ball gun and set my car up same place and spray the out of the s... ive heard great story's about ppl getting other ppl with paint ball guns.. ones that deserve it anyways...
Well i aint getting e from insurance i dont think... Insurance companies are bigger criminals than the ppl that stole my stereo and sunnies.... |

I saw a video of a South African car alarm a few years ago. Basically it's a bunch of flame throwers installed under the car, all of them controlled by motion detectors...any dumbass that sets off the alarm gets flame-broiled.
Too bad it's only legal there... |

Yeah, I know how it feels.
Last week some head removed one half of the wire from the brakes on my bike and I didn't notice. As I couldn't brake, it went straight downhills and into a bunch of bushes. I could have died. I hate when someone s around with my things. Luckily I found out who it was, he still has a broken arm today. And he's had both windows on his bedroom replaced. Plus he recieved porn for $100 in the mail. |

Yeah, you really got shafted. :( Maybe you didn't know you need to ask for theft, fire, and vandalism also?? Unless your co is being an ass about it..
A few years ago some of my car audio got stolen because just for that night I forgot to arm the car. Doh! Two 400 watt amps and 6-cd changer goes poof. Serves me right for not remembering.. |

Some mutha fahka still broke into your car. Even with the alarm on it would just make the job a bit harder (in my case it delayed entry by 30 seconds tops...fahk). He/she still had to break and enter and that is crime and it isn't honourable...and where I am from it deserves a good ass kicking. It sucks losing amps cause they cost $$$. I had a single Orion 222SX. It was rated as a 44w rms amp. But bridged it put out 88W rms but that was at 12v. 14v almost doubles that. It was a great amp! Some prick is enjoying it now...
I had a Clifford alarm on my car at the time. They put a screwdrive or something similar under my door handle, punched it and it raised the lock pin, opened the door, got in the car, opened the hood and disconnected the battery. Alarm siren problem solved. I guess it could have been worse they could have been sloppy and just cut the battery wire and then I would have had to tow my vandalized car home. Pieces of are a tax on society...I just want to witness a theft and would love to the see the victim of a theft catch the theif and basically kick the out of them. It would make my day...but what goes around comes around so, I better stop wishing harm on others. |
