Two ways. You can add a sampler in the channels menu - add one - sampler and then load sample and browse for it. Or u can make sure that you've saved it into the fruity folder, program files - image line - fruity * (whatever version u're on), data - patches - packs and then save it into a folder of your choice from there. Then go back into fruity and view the browser, select packs and then find the folder that you saved it into, find the file. Right click and then add as open in new channel or open in sampler channel.
Then you can put a trigger (draw a line for the length of the sample) into the piano roll, press play and away you go.
Hope this helps!

| or even a better way depending on the version of FL you have, you can add one->audio track, then load the .wav into the audio track, or drag the .wav into the audio track just like you would drag and drop it into the sampler. this gives you more flexability then using the sampler. its better for working with .wav files...try both ways and u'll find out why! the above method is how u had to do it in the older version of FL, but since like version 4 or 5 they added the audio track. peace mate! |
