What have they done that puts them above Buffalo, New Jersey, or San Jose?
Sure, they beat the Red Wings, who were the #1 seed and won the Presidents' Trophy, but they had a rookie in net with no playoff experience, and their leading scorer, Pavel Datsyuk, didn't play the first game, and was a non-factor throughout the series because of that injury.
Avs in 5.
Bring Hasek back, Ottawa, we don't want any excuses. |

Well as a Leaf fan, I can't cheer for one of their biggest rivals (The Sens), so let's go Buffalo (Buffalo doesn't rival the Leafs as much as Ottawa)!!
My prediction... Buffalo wins the cup. Buffalo will win against Ottawa, then beat Carolina and sorry to anyone that thinks different, but the west doesn't have any chance against the beast from the east!
I'm not really a fan of any of the teams left, but if I had to pick a team, it's definitely Buffalo. They're a fast team that can handle the puck well, score a lot of goals, good powerplay, and great goaltending. Making mistakes against a team like Buffalo will have its costs, and it has been proven more then a few times against Ottawa. |

Rookie goalie??? since when an 8th year goalie (197 games) considered a rookie? if you are meaning as a starting goalie, well edmonton was basically in the same boat with Roloson (214 games), he backed up fernandez.
I'm not placing Edmonton in the same class of power houses like any one else left in the playoffs, but the way they are playing, well lets just say I like them making the finals pretty damn good. |
