I hyped up the River Corinthians game to alot of people and yeah awesome game.Corinthians late goal shifted the advantage to them.That 1st goal from Tevez was class,then Rivers chilena and the speed to go through the defenders and one of the others.bad ass game.
Colombian teams are done, i knew santa fe would suck, they team is this year, Nacional played like crap vs Quito, no way in hell theyll score 5 goals even if its in Medellin, actually i think that what many said about Boro lol.... |

Liga de Quito advances easily by beating Nacional 1 - 0.
Chivas had more trouble advancing. They lost the match 3 - 1 playing in a horrible field. And I mean horrible, horses wouldn't run there. Anyway, I have yet to see the highlights for this game. I only saw Chivas' goal, which was the first one.
Anywho, tomorrow's, well, ermm, today's games should be interesting. Newells is a team to watch in this tournament. They are a strong team but they are down by two and are playing as visitors. It promises to be an entertaining match. Another interesting match, and perhaps the one getting most attention, is Sao Paulo VS Palmeiras. They tied in the first leg. The other game is between Internacional and Nacional. Internacional will be playing as hosts and have a one goal advantage. They have the upper hand but this is football and nothing is written until it happens. Anything can happen in any of the matches. |

Yeah, very physical match between Sao Paolo and Palmeiras. World Champions still in the competion.
And Newells is out. The other team was awarded a PK that didn't exist. It changed the flow of the game. Oh well. |

damn that was some intence riot in the Corinthians game that started 83 minutes into the game, really serious
props to the police for taking control and kicking the Corinthian fans asses :stongue:
although i still dunno if they killed that one fan, he looked dead to me when they carried him out
