I've put up with it for this long, blah blah craig's so great, blah blah.
No one likes arrogance.
I know plenty of couples who are in love that don't blabber on incessantly about how great their partner is, especially if in the not too distant past they got owned by airing private details about how great they weren't.
Leave me to my pmt, it's my opinion at the end of the day. :p |

I can understand your position, however, nothing will be resolved by challenging her, subsequently, it's only an exercise in stirring emotions. Unless of course you get some sort of cathartic release from calling her out on her lofty opinion of Craig, in which case I would suggest you are way too wrapped up in this board for your own good. I don't begrudge your opinion, I simply think voicing it isn't necessary in this instance. Similarly, I suppose there was nothing to be gained by my opining either.... so I'll shut up now. |

Ah, but the beauty of internet forums is that we can voice what we want, when we want (within the rules of whatever site being used).
I'm not too wrapped up in this site at all, in fact, you'll find I've been pretty scarce of late.
I just get annoyed by arrogance, and this has been going on long enough for me to throw politeness to the wayside and take her down a peg, even though I am sure I havent really (egos are generally tough to crack), it was, as you said, cathartic, and I stand by it. :D |
