no . last time i was there sold me on fancy earplugs. it was so loud, my ears actually hurt in the club, and my ears hurt for the next two days.

at least you can stand to stay there for awhile, if I don't have earplugs, I cannot stay in that room for longer than 10 minutes, after that it's just too painful. not only that, but I find it so loud that I can't really hear the music/words...it just all becomes a very loud "noise"
I've learned my lesson. I always keep ER20s in my car as a backup plan should I forget my custom ones at home, although it's the first thing I check I have with me when I leave for a club.

There are a few threads on earplugs, which usually end up in a discussion about ER20s and where to get them. I believe somebody mentioned in another thread that there is a store somewhere downtown that sometimes carries them, don't remember the location though. Try running a search. |
