No. Neither play deep house. Hernan p;ays good music, but it's nothing close to deep house... You just like the way deep house sounds... You have no idea what it is. Desyn plays some deep house, but for the most part you are right, he isn't a deep house dj.. but cattaneo...:wtf: |
Noone declares himself as a Deep House DJ. Some nights you can find Sasha or Digweed playing a few Deep House tracks within their sets all around the globe everyday and I personally prefer Hernan for some his tracks which I classify as Deep House. I've listened Desyn live too and he is nothing but a usual Progressive player. |

I agree, he is proggresive, but he is a hell of a lot more prone to playing deeper tunes than a harder dj cattaneo... You must see that... |

Full on prog house. A darker prog house than Desyn. Desyn is a very funky guy a lot of the time- lots of pianos and vocals. I find Cattaeneo's sound much darker. |

add some jazzy elements to it, jazzy sexy deep house!!!!!
then again, i'm all up for funky house, and some good ol prog house too

Yes, don't quote me on that. I was corrected earlier and it's actually progressive house with a little trance influence. Deep house is different than that. Listen to some of the recommendations made here in this thread and you'll hear the difference. |

Yes they do.
Nick Holder, Dimitri from Paris, Miguel Migs, Mark Farina, DJ Jeno, DJ Garth, DJ Kepi, DJ Leanne, Little T, Dubtribe Soundsystem, and everyone I listed above all call themselves deep house DJs.
You need to get out more often. |

Yeah no doubt.
TA manages to up every deep house thread... Think the Northeast US underground scene... Chicago, NYC, Washington DC (From what I heard), Baltimore- There is a huge deep house scene in those cities, only more recently San Francisco.
Deep House scenes and Trance scenes are so different it's easy to see how people might not realize just what deep house is, like some deep house heads might not have a proper idea of what trance is or isn't.
Edit: Not Washington State. |
