A friend of mine sent a link to your Lost In A White Wave mix some time ago, and I've been meaning to drop a line about how great I think it is. You always know when to drop a Conjure One track at the right moment. Dissolved Girl --> Center of the Sun is perfect. :cool:
It inspired me to try my hand at a couple of downtempo/ambient mixes myself, but they didn't hold up. Livesets don't last long on my hard drive, but yours has stood its ground! |

keep at it with your mixes thou, ambient and chill out is a lot harder to do than ppl think, it took me a while to come up with the tracklists for those sets, surreal existence took over a month to plan and get the tracks in just the right order to keep the flow of the set in the direction i wanted to take ppl. |

Yeah, I haven't tried it for some time -- I left my mixer, etc. at home, so when I get back from Europe in July I'll have to give it another shot. I'm still a little too scattered all over the place as far as genre goes to really put anything well thought out together at the moment.
I'm going to dl Echoes of Silence next I think, and I'll be sure to post what I think when I get a chance to give it a listen. |
