Right on! The Howell mix is my favorite, the electro housey sounds go very well with the vocals of the song IMO. The Jacques Lu Cont mix is pretty catchy but gets boring after a while, same with the Tiefschwarz. After the Howell mix my facorite is actually the album version.
As for the Holden version, I was very disappointed. I absolutely love the Depeche Mode - Darkest Star Rmeix and Dub and was hoping for more of the same. From the beginning the song is undeniable Holden, and is pretty ing sweet for the first 60 seconds or so. Sadly though, the song goes nowhere after that, and is just in general too slow for me IMO. I love all the pops and blips and bloops but this song just didn't do it for me. |

Holden remix is certainly crazy, but I love it after a few days of mutiple listens. Above and beyond anything else electronic coming out these days in terms of originality and risk. Stunning mix and great CDM! |
