NYTA's...I've never posted a mix in here, cause I thought only Vlad could. But I love you guys and I think you have good taste in music. And I'm drunk. But thats irrelevant. So enjoy this. Vlad too. lol :D
Some of you might remember, awhile ago I made a CD sized mix while stoned and ing with ableton live that turned out pretty good. This is the sequel, but using my new toy:
I've been very lazy to warp new tracks lately, for ableton use, but tonight I was feeling in the mood to put the x-session to the test, since I havn't really done a proper mix with it till today. This was completely unplanned, I picked my opening track, and then pressed play and started mixing. Track 9 is a up, I wanted to play a different track but I hit play on the wrong one. So then I worked with it. The tracklist is not full, because there are a few tracks which get mashed together and a few that play on for long periods of time, or come in and out. I suggest being stoned while listening, if you wanna get into my state of mind.
You might note that I'm feeling more summery in music lately, because spring is here. This is a good mix for driving around on a sunny day.

You posted your April CDJ mix in here a few weeks ago, which I thought was pretty good, btw. I've only listened through once, though.
Hopefully, I will give it a listen this weekend when I'm in the proper listening state of mind. |
