What cable do i need to go from phono (in mixer) to a laptop? In order to record?

| Nope, what was i thinking, female isnt the small, female is where the males goes into. I found a phono to mini jack. cheers |

| is there a cable available that has an rca to usb connection? this would be perfect for recording from mixer to laptop. |

To go from rca to usb you need an interface. A soundcard.
The obviouse reason is that rca is an anolouge signal and the usb is a digital signal. |

| As previously said, phono to jack. More specifically phono to 3.5mm jack. The female is the hole, and, well the male plugs into it. Hence the male/female term. |
