Mind you, there are quite a few freaky people out there. However, I don't think they get worse than the emos wandering around. Rabid anime fans are pretty bad, though.

as mentioned, Akira and Steamboy.
When I was younger I LOVED the Sailer Moon saga, but I've forgotten much about Ronin Warriors. I've tried getting into new telvision series like Cowboy Bebop or Trigun, but I get so bored.
Macross Plus(Japanese Dialogue, English subtitles---the english dubbing is HORRENDOUS) has been my favorite for a long long time.
If anything, I'd like to see an anime on Battle Royale, hopefully in a series of chapters that long spans the constraints of a 2 hour live action film. The original director did a masterpeice, but I think hes dead and no one could possibly do it justice. |

Maybe i've only seen around the worst cases, I don't know really, I could just be stereotyping on what i've seen so far. |
