The Saints have Duce Mcallister so they dont need Bush. The Jets are salivating for Bush from what I hear. Things are going to get hot. I Want bush hands down. We have another 1st round at 29 and two 2nd round picks.
I think that the jets are going to call the saints bluff and say hey take bush at 2 and make the saints think. The jets are going to gamble and see if Bush drops down past the saints. As it stands the Jets still have a major hard on for Dbrickashaw and will choose him over Young and Matt T. |

dbrick makes sense cuz he is an Pace type plaeyer just a instant OL star.

We have noone to protect the Qbs ass. After the jets get bush (Rubs fat Budha Doll :D )we need to get some linemen.
but that would be SICK if Matt came to the jets.

The Jets are in a catch 22 situation. Get a RB, no lineman to protect, no QB to pass and handoff... get a Lineman, you put the pressure on the old legs of Curtis, and you still dont have a QB to handle business, get a QB he will probably get hurt cause the line will collapse around him - and that is not a situation you want to put a rookie under.
I say, they need to use this draft as a precursor for next year. I say they draft D'Brickshaw at the 4th pick, and draft LenDale White (yes, its a bit of a risk) at the 29th pick. I think Curtis could be an excellent mentor to him. I say flop this year intentionally to try to get the first pick so that you can lock Brady Quinn.
But than you have to factor in that the Jets defense has fallen apart, no more Abraham, no Law - the entire team is a mess.

Why is LenDale a risk? He had an amazing O line at USC but he is solid and very athletic. |

I dont know if youve been following, but LenDale came into workouts incredibly overweight and under conditioned. He has been very lazy in the offseason and Im sure alot of clubs will look into that and it will devalue his stock - clubs will question his commitment and work ethic. |
