I honestly never gave him the idea that I wanted to be with him, or that I was interested in him. I know there was never one time I did anything to instill any sort of nice emotion about me.
For example, the first night I met him, he was wearing blue eye contacts. I asked him if they were real (because the looked really unusual,) and he said that they weren't. I was going to say "Oh, ok" and drop it, but then he said "do you like them", and I turned to him, and straight faced said "no, I think they look terrible." I was never particularily nice or mean to him.
Sure, we chatted (normally) and we would talk about normal things and it seemed like we had a frienship going on. That was the extent of it though.
I am wondering if perhaps he was drinking...
