Lyss: My plans for Canada this summer include Global Gathering and Labour of Love....I will do one more trip to Toronto if whatever job I get is ok with giving weekends off....highly doubtful :( :( Have you seen the pics from A&B/Guv?? SIIIIICK!!! |

Colibri, I liked your analogy, and I agree with your point regarding A&B lacking spice. But I didn't go to A&B for spice, I went for a smoother flavor and more beautifful sound. As such, I still enjoyed myself, even though the beat wasn't perhaps hard enough for you.
Oh, and I go to Wholefoods in Columbus Circle every day --- great store! |

StanVoid is the man. It was nice meetin you as well, had fun talkin to you about your track A&B played earlier in the year but i really wanted to hear it at the club...well good luck with everything |

:) I want to go to both of these also, but it looks like I might justy do Labour of Love since we just went to MTL
Okay here's my review, better late then never: So forever and ever Kel has been tellin me to get my ass to see A&B, she has always lead me in the right direction so I wanted to go but no cash, so thanks to Jay and Gabey (sp) I got in and :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: SO GLAD I WENT!!!! Awesome. No need to ID tracks (which I could have actually done this time :whip: ). For me just my type of music. Overall the night was great, aside from a few crazy dudes all over me. I loved A&B, smilin the whole time, great crowd interaction, great tracks.
Thanks Kel for makin me go
A&B need to come back this summer, I will be there for sure.
Also, I find it crazy that they come to NYC and are at Spirit and then got to TO the next night and are at the Guv. Great Set!!!! |
