Those (long!) noise sweeps -- where to find them??

Hi,
Anybody knows where you can download those typical noise sweeps, whooshes, especially those long ones!
Or perhaps anybody would be so kind to upload some good ones!!

use your favourite synth.
set it up to generate white noise.
automate the filter to be as long as you need.
and voilá you have a sweep...or you can use different waveforms plus some more modulation etc. etc. etc. |

That's good advice. I've thought of doing that before, but always end up doing it the hard way, using the VSTi parameters. |

Thanks for the great link, but which of those packs has those long noise sweeps I am looking for. I downloaded a couple but none seem to have them.
Anybody can tell me please? Any other sites that have those long noise sweep FX's? |

Take the 3xOsc, and play with the filter settings and Reso. And if you want to get really funky put alot of effects,Reverb, Phaser, Distortion, anything to make it sound good. Then EQ.
Sweeps is the only thing goood for 3xOsc, well for me anyways |

3osc is a very good effects synth I find.
Good for basslines too. |

SuperwaveP8 (a free softsynth) is very good for white noise sweeps. Just set it to white noise, then automate the synth's cutoff filter. I'm trying to figure out how to get a real harsh white noise swoosh. I tried distortion, that didn't work. Maybe a decimator or something would work.
Barking wombat is another good free softsynth that is good for white noise and weird effects. |
