Dude sure does make it hard though, eh? I downloaded it.
Percs to start are not my cup of tea. The only thing really good about this is, meh..it's Coldplay right? If I was Coldplay I'd be REALLY PISSED OFF that this happened because it's the closest thing to stealing as can be. Take a song add a bassline and throw the whole thing through some filtering. Big deal. This doesn't showcase any talent whatsoever. :happy2:
I'm sorry mate. Just nothin' new in this... the problem is this one is EVERYONE's favourite one to remix and listeners are suffering from "Fix You" fatigue.
Really...what did you do YOURSELF to this track that a) hasn't been done already and b) really makes it stand out instrumentally? NOTHING.

| I did it so I could play it at my gigs and haven't seen any other Fix You remixes. I'm not making money off it, so why should Coldplay be pissed off, I'm promoting them? I feel it's a bit presumptious of you to speak on anyone else's behalf, but each to their own. |

Yeh, when remixing you need to transfer you're own style to the tune. You cant just whack a beat and bassline on and call it a remix. It needs to stand out from the rest to be noticed.
An in future if you want reviews, make sure you dont piss everyone off man. |

| Oh rubbish, who died and made you God, I just wanted to play it in my set, so I created a remix that I could use. Where do you guys get off on your own ego's. These are opinions, so stop pretending to be the know it all. I've probably sold more records than you ever will, and definitely worked on more gold and platinum albums (300+), so don't come with your holier than thou, this is how its meant to be crap. Over 2000 people have downloaded the mix, and a lot more than half like it, especialy because I didn't change it too much, so get off your high horse and think before you speak. |
