mmyeah. i learned today that some company in the U.S. has bought up a bunch of the scrap metal from Ground Zero, and will be melting them into commemorative plates for the low low price of 29.99. thousands have been preordered.
how much of this is going to charity? the victim's families? anything to benefit society? nothing.
 
how pathetic and self serving is that? it makes me sad to know that people want to exploit this tragedy beyond a media circus.

Bizz...your right this provides an opportunity for them to profit...but its this lack of compassion and failure to keep something sacred is what makes the world hate the US in the first place...
I just wish this whole event could be deleted from the books...it sickens me... |

Yea i heard about this on the news.......and they said that a portion of the proceeds from the sales wiil go to victoms of the attacks....but when the news then interviewed the charities and people who are suffering thay ALL said they want NO part of this and that it is a disgrace....
its pretty low if you ask me...but there are ALWAYS creepy people who can only gain from other peoples misfortunes.....pathetic... |

sure, they might sell it, but NOT for their own profit... the ppl just wouldnt buy it (morally speaking)...
