Ok, i will teach you
First off all, the first mix Sasha & Digweed did together was.....
Renaissance 1, this consists of 3 mix albums, (released in 1994) and is called the first clubmix ever, if you have it, cherish it!
Then the Northern Exposure series started.
First one is of course Northern Exposure (released in 1996)
again, a doulbe album, containing 2 cd's. This was also released in the US, but they were seperate albums, you can still order these seperate one(s) at www.amazon.com, but they don't have the gatefold cases like the doulbe album
Second one is Northern Exposure 2, again double album (released in 1997).And this was once more released in the US but not as a double album.
On the one side you have The Westcoast Edition (with tracks like LSG - Netherworld, Armin Van Buuren - Blue Fear, Transa - Enervate), and on the other side you have The Eastcoast Edition (with tracks like Gus Gus - Believe, Spooky - Little Bullet [LIVE MIX, not part one as labelled on the CD]. So the original one contains 2 albums, whereas the imports are called Northern Exposure 2 East/Westcoast Edition, and carry only one CD.
Last installment of this Northern Exposure series is
Northern Exposure 3: Expeditions (released in 1999). Only one way of buying this, the normal double album, is a plastic jewel case.
So far for the Northern Exposure series.
However, Sasha & Digweed have worked again on a new album called Communicate, again 2 CD's, and still available everywhere on the net.
I wont mention Independence Nights, which was 'released' but no info on this, most likely a bootleg release.
If anyone wants a tracklist of any of these CD's (except Independence Nights) or need a link where to purchase one of those, mail me, pm me, or leave a reply here. I'm always ready to give a hand, when it comes down to Sasha & Digweed. |

I always thought NE1 was one album with the two cds that you have to purchase together and its very hard to find. Could you maybe show me the actual links to the two different discs? Thanks |

this was taken from the GU forum,
Sasha CD
0:00-7:41 1. The Arc - Echobeach (Pied Piper)
7:42-12:30 2. Allium - M.O.T Venture (Hold Your Pillow) (Movin' Melodies)
12:31-18:10 3. S'N'S - Conflicts (Deal)
18:11-24:10 4. ? (WICKED track, builds and builds, breaks down into a native American woman wailing...then kicks back in with the huge bassline)
24:11-32:10 5. Digital Blondes - Antheum (Free Mix) (Fluid)
32:11-39.30 6. Ready For Dead - Ready For Dead (Ambient Mix) (Limbo)
39:31-46:14 7. ? (Acidic, breaky building track...maybe a vocal sample saying 'Hold up, hold up' during the mix in?)
46:15-55:19 8. Goldie vs. Rabbit In The Moon - Innercity Life (RITM's Vocalic City Mix) (FFRR)
55:20-62:15 9. Delta Lady - Anything You Want (The Delta Belter Vocal Symphony) (Hard Hands)
62:16-66:54 10. ? (Bjorky-sounding vocal samples 'Oh yeah'/'Hold on/it' (?)...pumping tune)
66:55-72:00(ish) 11. Yazz - Abandon Me (Ramp Mix) (WEA?)
72(ish)-77.20 12. Slacker - Flying (Loaded)
My CD stops at 70:19 so the last time marker is a rough guess
Hope you can ID some more!
Just for the record, here are some of the tunes from the Digweed disc:
Housey Doingz - Curly Wurly (Pagan)
Nu Colours - Special Kind of Lover (The Great Divide Dub III) (Wildcard)
JP & Taylor - Digital Discourse (Musicnow)
Transa - Prophase (Interphase) (Hook)
Andrea Mendez - Bring Me Love (Mad Boy Dub?) (AM:PM)
Sasha - Arkham Asylum (Deconstruction)
Blue Amazon - And Then The Rain Falls (Jackpot) |
