Yes, it is an electronics expo and E3 is taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Hey, does anyone know how tightly 1015 is enforcing the dress code? Specifically, I want to know if I can get away with wearing sneakers.
fury
Yeah, I'm curious about that too. I haven't been there since they started "enforcing" the dress code.

Given the DEA horror stories i've heard about this club, and now the security is *increased*??? I'm thinkin i'm not gonna screw around and am hoping to just show up already "in the mood", but for this reason i want to try to time it as well as possible to show up shortly before a@b comes on, so anyone know what time they may take the decks?

Oh and should i even bother buying tix online? or will there very likely be plenty available at the door and a short line? Tranceaddicts can tell the future and give me precise answers right? Let's have 'em!

...and wtf is this about a dress code?

Headliners usually come on around 1. Presales are $15 and tickets will be $20 at the door. Or you can sign up at 1015's website for FREE before 10:30, or $10 before 11.

i'll probably go, 1015 needs walk-through metal detectors though, so much faster. to their credit though getting rid of that dungeon basement will clean the place up a lot. the upstairs is also much nicer...

Per the 1015 website, no sports gear, caps or tennis shoes. All part of the move to "class up" the place, I guess.

Let's hope so... although I guess people will have complaints about any venue. :D

Bah, you can wear tennis shoes there. Don't let it fool you. It's just to scare people away who don't REALLY want to be there.

back when i used to go to 1015 i used to park my old car in an alley but theres no way im doing it with my new car so does anyone know where the nearest parking garage is to 1015?

Looking at this one makes me really wanna go.
But looks like I'll be riding solo, since all my friends flaked!
And it's been forever since I've been to that sweatbox!
