And the quality? Is it the same quality as all the broadcasted ones (i.e. rather low quality, irrespective the format) or is it this time a really good quality "coming out of the dark"? Maybe the source copies of the vigorfm broadcast? |

NO, DEFINITELY NOT GREAT QUALITY. I checked the Members of Mayday set @livesets.com and it was horrible. I myself recorded the AAC+ stream (see the link in one of my previous posts) and the AAC+ stream sounds way better! It is the same poor quality as broadcasted by yourmusic.fm and probably even more worse (the higher frequencies are missing completely). Yourmusic.fm broadcasted in 192kbps stereo mp3 but for doing that they transcoded the original 48kbps mono AAC+ stream into 192kbps stereo mp3. Probably someone decoded the file to remove the polish voices from the set and this and the final re-encoding step resulted in an even lower quality. Horrible, just horrible. |
