that misstress barbara is the best dj in montreal by fay and the only one that has gone international....dont say lafleche in morocco cuz that doesnt count! he stinks
i think its unfortunate scott bond is coming on at 7 but im really happy i will get to dance to miss B at 4 for once and not have to sit in the stands at at 10am and just bob my head to whatever energy i have left
it is true...almost 90% tech dj's say they hate trance because its considered the "sell-out" or "pop" music of the electronica genre...and i couldnt agree more...ive rarely seen someone go into a store and pick up a pure techno cd..rather than some stupid idiot picking up tranceplant or something they saw on t.v
fo everyone who is a TA..i think u should try to appreciate tech or prog and other rarer types of electronica......ud be surprised about how cool the change is |

delstar believe me when i go to a music store to find some trance tracks i cant find any anywhere....not even in montreal! i dont think u can say the trance we listen to is the same the one "people" know!
And yeah u cant find pure techno CDs...but still same thing for pure Trance !one we know! |

IMO, im there for both Djs and miss B is one of the best Djs in Canada so at least have some respect for somebody who has a unique style... you dont hear anyone play like her in all canada!

hahaha deli i was still living in morocco when he came to spin in a party like bal en blanc , i didn't go there because in the same night we were organizing a school party that was shut down at midnight because of security reasons :D |

I'll be heading to Montreal this week. Hoping to check out the trance scene in Montreal, do a little Mont Tremblant. What goes on before 1:30am at Aria? Is the club open? Do people even show up before 2:00am? Also is Yaz the resident DJ? help me.. |

Before 1:30 @ Aria : nothing :)
yes some people do show up at 2 am (like me hehe) but it's still empty at this time , and yaz is the resident dj |

Does ARIA open before 12:00am? Do they serve drinks there.?? Cause I don't see them making coin at the bar if the night starts at 1:00am and most people won't show up until 2:00am. They probebly have some guy in the inside selling "E" and then Aria gets some percentage of the sale. I'm sorry if all my questions make me sound REAL ignorant.
I'm from Toronto :toothless , so I'm usually going to the Guvernment. At the Guvernment, the resident Dj might start or end the event. Starting time is around 10:30-11:00PM and the guest Dj starts at 1:00am-2:00am at the earliest.
Oh well. I'm going to be there whatever the time. Just wanted to explain my confusion.

Aria doesn't open before 12 am
Aria doesn't serve alcohol
Aria doesn't have someone selling E and getting some percentage of the the sale
Aria is not the guvernment
Montreal is not Toronto

Why do you care?????!!!!! r u here for the music or just to make gossip. please leave all other things apart and just come for the music.
Aria opens at 1:30 am if you want to come for the music you are welcome.

Yaz shoul start off then MIss B then Bondy and Mateo probably will end it!

PS: They dont serve alcohol but they do serve energy drinks! |
