Well my parents have left with my little brother for a week to go on a cruise. I stayed home with my sister.
Today started out nice enough. My gf stayed over last night and we made passionate love all night (3 minutes). Then we woke up, had some coffee and i made some pie for her. My sister was there at the time and she seemed to be in good spirits,
until my gf left.
She says casually to me "Clean up the mess you made from your pie"
so i had my shower, shaved, came back down and proceeded to clean up. Plates in the dishwasher, put the other dishes by the sink where they're cued up to be washed by hand (by me later tonight), and all was well i thought.
I thought.
As i walk upstairs to have some of my delicious pie i made, my sister says that I have not finished the task at hand.
I ask her: WTF you talkin bout noob?
"The living room is a mess."
I walk over to the living room, look around.
no mess here. there must have been a mix up in communication. clearly she must have meant "the living room isn't a mess. good job bradley. you're super."
But no, the mix up wasn't in communication, it was within my own definition of the word "mess".
You see, to me, the word mess, means "dirty. not clean. unorganized."
Too my sister the word means "not to her exact specifications"
The argument started over whether or not the wireless controller for the 360 was indeed a remote.
I argued that since i just push the middle button, and it turns on the xbox, that it is infact, a remote, and belonged next to the rest of the remotes.
Where as she claimed "it was just a stupid thingy that doesn't belong there and just becuase you're too lazy to get up and turn on your video game system"
I defended my right to be lazy, and that all remotes serve the same purpose, but that only enraged my sister futher.
Eventually the argument turned violent, and her nails, feet, fists did the talking for quite some time. The only thing that gave me strength was reminding myself that the fish is still tucked away nicley in her car.
I am bleeding, and my ears are ringing from her yelling into my ear.
Lets hope that the rest of the week is more enjoyable. |

My parents also get pissy when I leave the 360 controller on the coffee table. Since I am living with them, I made a little place to keep the controllers by the TV.
Luckily, I can still keep the 360 bonus media remote on the table without them bitching since I swapped their DVD player for the 360. :p
Sorry to hear that she's being a bitch, AGAIN. Wonder what'll happen when/if she gets married? Poor sap. |
