Hey guys,
hope anyone can help me out with a few thoughts on the EMU 1820m:
http://www.emu.com/products/product...91&product=9871
Wanna get rid off my TerraTec DMX 6fire 24/96 and thought of getting the 1820m instead.
Another important fact are the 6/8 inputs as i thought of record some bands in the near future.
anyone using that card?
feedback appreciated
cheers

| very nice design ... loads of features but doesnt work properlly on many sistems.their support page is full of issues but again it might work on your comp.see if you can return it in case you will not be satiffied. |

I use it, and I'm satisfied. I don't know exactly what you're after.
I've used it to multitrack record my rock band too. |

yeah indeed. I read about many issues as well, anyway..just checked productionforums.com and their EMU Forum and people there say that there are no problems confirmed with my mainboard. so i guess that wont be the problem :) |

| with your mainboard probally yes...but maybe in the near future you will buy an TCPOWERCORE or UAD... and i tell you for sure...it will be a total disaster |
