Lightworks,

First very notable thing was the extremely long breathing space between 2.38 - 5.08, not bad :p. You could raise things a bit more stronger during that long break or atleast add some more background effects to avoid it gettin' too long-drawn. Melodically it's good, no doubt about it. I waited something new to appear when the beat starts again, maybe some soloinstrument to bring some variety to the basic melody, I dunno. Now it's a bit dry to the end.
Drums are in balance and you made some nice things with hi-hats, also build-up works. Is it my headphones or do I hear some noise, whistling or whatever you call it in that piano. Reminds me of some old tracker xi-samples :).

Anyway I assume that this song has been fully made with Fruityloops, it would be good to get some more gear/software besides it. Overall I'll give this track 8. Next time just improve things bit by bit and you have a deal soon :).
Lightworks
i do work with gear breakaholic ;)
but i do work alot with fruity as well. you can check the 'info' tab on my artist page to see what i'm using.

the samples are all from my synth, used and tweaked in fruityloops.
well, i'll see what i can do, maybe cheeck it up a little with my lightworks name, this one's under 'world of light' (second artist name).

take care! Wim @ LW

PS: see further topics below for some more tracks ;)

Yes, I can see Roland synth used :), btw. what Roland you have ?.

The song definitely sounds better now when I'm listening without headphones, means that I need to get new ones :). My Sennheiser HD 435 are a "bit" dated :D . Still I mostly stick in what I said before but you got the talent.

nice soft tune...think it needs some remastering in like wavelab or some other mastering tool...i know i have the same problem when i make songs in reason...the lower frequencies tends to get louder, keeping it from getting a little more energic higher overall sound.
It usually sounds good when listening at it with headphones...but not quite the same on a stereo.

What i do is, in wavelab i check with 3d frequency analasis which frequency are dominant and throw in a filter at that and tone down a little...not to much and then a 2 to 1 compressor...and normalize...last I boost bass, mid and treble(2-3 db) at will to make it sound as i want...sounds much more "professional". Just a tip... :)

great tune!
