There were rumors going around a while ago saying that the Coachella performance was going to be thier last US one ever, and the remaining upcoming dates would be thier last tour dates. Of course after that rumor popped up, nothing has been said of it...so who knows.

All I know is, I didn't want to take any pics knowing that, and just enjoy what would possibly be the first and last show I would see of thiers...

Edit: You know, with pretty much everyone behind Daft Punk now (see the official Coachella forum), i'd be surpised if they didn't do a SoCal performance later this year, just based on the success of the Coachella show. They would be insane not to, and could charge Tiesto-price tickets :P

Here's my one and only pic of Daft Punk. Only taken just to test out how far my new lens can zoom :P

wasn't this their 1st live North American date since 1996 or so (not including DJ dates)?

all other acts at coachella paled in comparision to daft punk. that was my fourth coachella and i can say without a doubt that it was the best performance i've seen. me, and everyone else in that tent, were going absolutely insane!

I heard the same thing about this being their last tour ever. EVER. I'm actually going to try to make it out to Global Gathering to see them again in the Summer.

It was depressing when they got off, thinking that this would most likely be the last time I would ever see that again. Madonna. Daft Punk OWNED Coachella.

Oh man, anyone else notice that they were using the Missy Elliot vocals for Technologic? That was insane :eyespop: :eyespop:

edit

Wow can't believe you got this shot. This pose only lasted for so long lol. As soon as I get my camera back from my friend i'll post my pics/vids. Not as good as the ones already posted, soo maybe just the pics :p

my buddy told me some of the stage crew at coachella stole the daft punk helmets and started walking around the festival. they picked up some chicks and ended up porking them in full gear. they were later caught a fired :haha:
