hey!
so, this started out as a minimal thingy inspired by andreas tilliander (aka mokira and as lowfour) but grew into something with a deeper groove. the cut-up pulsepad is all that remains of the minimalistics. i even wrote and recorded some guitar melodies/loops, but since i'm a total novice at playing guitar and there's too much synthwork in this baby, i threw them away. the compression/mastering here has alot of room for improvement, so suggestions on that would be awesome. comments & thoughts warmly appreciated :)

left click, 4 mb mp3

nope. should work with winamp. i'll put up an mp3 too
Mr Rogers
funky riff is good but waay to loud, upfront and dry.
gotta widen it , reverb a tad and maybe soften....takes over the whole track.
the beat is totally kickass, i hear the minimal aspects u were talk'n about, makes the whole track.
lotta level problems....sounds like everything is bouncing off each other, not meshing.
not sure if that makes sense.
the funky riff is definetly to much in ur face though.
wicked style...can't wait to hear the finished product!

check out my track if ya got time, thanx

Thanx! Get it now. :) I have to agree with Mr Rogers, the funky riff takes over the whole track and its been a bit annoying after a while. Can not consentrate on the other. But keep it up anyway! Think it will sounds much better if you lower it. :) Good luck!
