Still dont understand why Axwell gets so much hype... he plays too much diva-ish type house. He should get clipped out of the mafia. Tunes of the night... Gypsy Woman, Aftermath, 321... |

I had a pretty good time. Got there around 12:30 with GHB and stayed until almost 4. I agree about the crowd. There was a mix of people there for Axwell, but also too many people trying way too hard to be cool. GHB and I went to the roofdeck early on to have a cigarette, and I asked around for a light. This one wasted guy tried to pin me against a wall and said he'd find me a light if I sat by the wall. All the while GHB's laughing at the whole situation a few feet away. Thanks hun. :whip:
Anyway, it was actually crowded on the dance floor because they put two beds in the middle between the speakers. That reduced dance capacity to about half of usual. Luckily, by 2am most of the posers cleared out already.
I thought Axwell was great and that his set was more interesting and energetic than Angello and Ingrosso's at Cielo. He is much more diva/funky house than the other two. Ryan complained about that as well, but I actually like it once in a while. He played a bunch of remixes of older tracks. I'll leave the IDing to GHB since I'm having recollection probs lol

wowww! what a fun night! my only complaint was the lack of energy/crowd...there was barely anyone there! i don't know if it was because tiesto (blah) was at crobar that night or because people had to work the next day....but i was literally shocked to see so few people there. whatever- more room for the REAL fans!
we drove all the way up from DC for this night and it was definitely a good time. i came with 2 boys (one of which passed out and the other was with a girl the whole night), so i was kind of like a lost puppy the whole time. lol...luckily there were a few people there that i got to chill with for awhile. christina, ryan, tyler, and indy- so glad i got to talk to all of you guys again, it had been awhile. great meeting greg, andy, and brandie too...you guys are the best!
THANK YOU so much to ax for not only playing 95% of my favorite songs right now, but for calling my friend sam. that was so cool of him to do that. i definitely am interested to see the rest of the mafia and to see how ax stacks up!
