:wtf:

What's the model of the player. And is it a hard drive player?

Mine lasts 35 hours, I have only given it 3 proper charges since I bought it a month ago.

lol, clearly you do not deal with Apple often.

Apple Warranties

1. 14 days for full refund or exchange

2. After 14 days must call 1-800-MY-APPLE and deal with their technical support (which they will try and make you pay for). Another way of contacting them for troubleshooting is www.myapple.com/support/ipod/ and follow the steps there. If they cannot fix it for you that way you'll have to send it in. They will pay for the shipping to send it in up to 6 months after purchase.

3. All of the above except after 6 months YOU bear the costs of shipping.

4. If you have to pay for shipping it comes in handy if you have an extended service plan (provided you bought it at Best Buy or Future Shop) as you can bring in your receipt and receive a cheque for the cost of shipping the product.
