Good for vacations
Bad for our export industry except for energy which still sells great.
Good for our imports (cheaper products), also company's will be able to buy equipment for cheaper which can help boost our productivity.

But its creating some problems between provinces. Obviously the reason its going up is because of our natural ressources and mostly oil. So Alberta is really profiting of it but its hurting export provinces like Quebec and Ontario.

btw now is the time to plan that Ibiza vacation

One thing the Canadian Dollar against the British Pound, in the past 4 years went out 0.05£.

So like by 2010, 1 CDN$ = 0.55£, if it keeps going like that so it should be equal by let say 2046 (1 CDN$ = 1£)
Enjoy
i can buy more stuff !!

Quebec has hydro-energy. The problem is being created for Toronto more than Alberta and Quebec since they have neither oil or energy.

Looking at those stats it looks like the canadian dollar didn't rise as much as the american dollar went down the drain.
