| When I first saw the show I was taken with it, but as others have said plot is fairly repetitive. I also get tired of the fancy pants medical jargon sparring, it gets old quick. The writers try too hard to shock us with House's unconventional methods, his lack of bedside manners, and the exotic diseases he diagnoses. The quieter moments between the patients and House's subordinates are where the show shines. |

I've seen a couple of episodes. As already said, they're repetitive; Someone comes in with a problem, they diagnose it and try to fix it, but the diagnosis was wrong and the person gets hurt more, so House comes up with something that everyone else thinks will kill the patient, at which point they threaten to fire him and the patient's relatives get pissed, but House says, " you!" and does it anyways, and it ends up working and everyone else is like, "Uh... k."
Anywho...
The commercials tell me the gist of what is in the episodes, which is why I've never really been interested in it. Watching them is like watching the entire episode in thirty seconds, but it's still just as boring. :p |
