Good soft synth plug-ins for Trance? (pg. 2)

| Other than z3ta and Vanguard, I'd recommend Linplug Albino. It's awesome for the weird FX, and pretty easy to use. |

The internal logic synths are all you'll ever need. Especially in logic 7 you can make every sound you can think off. Es1 for analog basslines and other stuff, es2 for trancy plucks and leads, exs24 for your sampled instruments, EFM for FM synthesis, the whole vintage range for organs, electronic pianos etc. The native fx are also top notch. Buy a sample cd with percussion with it and you're off to make professional songs.
If I had the choice I wouldn't hesistate one second and go to logic straight away. Unfortunately you have to buy a 2000€ mac with it now. Omg I'm gonna miss logic :(. |

I have an old G3 mac, was gona buy a new motherboard G4 and upgrade the Ram to 1gb. Worth it? |

i think atmosphere holds you back, the possibilities are not endless as in real synths, so beiing creative is more difficult

How about the Spectrasonics Trilogy, and/or Stylus? They all they're hyped up to be? |

| Unison feature is certainly a plus for any VSTi. Turn that on and your synth is 50% closer to the real thing. |
