Stupid kids, they should just come to TA. |
Costco still sells it..........how do they plan on regulating the sale of such common objects. Stores aren't about to stop selling them, they see this bylaw as retarded as we do. This bylaw will never be enforced/used by any consumer/retailer/producer... |

I have no idea. I laughed in their face when they told me, and then the guy was like "No, seriously, we can't sell it anymore"
I mean, I would have thought kids would have been blowing up the cans or lighting on fire or something, not trying to get high off of the contents.
Either way, Costco was my next stop. |

We are having a very hard time with our supply. I wouldnt be surprised if we stopped carrying it altogether....which is stupid cause you have to be 18+ to shop there. :p |

| in heavily graffitied places like NYC and Los Angeles, they've had the same law for quite some time now except there you gotta be over 21 to buy spraypaint or a broad tipped marker. |

It's... just...compressed...air....wtf :wtf: |
Compressed air that you use to clean computers/etc with contains difluoroethane. Erowid has a few trip reports on it like this one, but the stuff can cause nerve damage and can be fatal.
Its not so much stopping the sale of it because 'kids are using it for a cheap high', stopping the sales of it because 'kids are using it for a cheap high, and it can be fatal' - and the fatal / health risk part isnt just media bull, its a very real risk that can kill you or leave you with some nasty brain damage. Its worse than huffing glue pretty much. |

a teen could poke someone's eye out with a paperclip...or stab someone in the throat with a pen or pencil...maybe they shouldn't be allowed to buy those either without mommy and daddy
 x 1000
I don't advocate physical violence...but someone should seriously slap those councillors upside their misguided heads.
If *that* is considered a pressing issue, so deserving of their attention, then the City of London doesn't need councillors in the first place, lol. |

/\/\ Seriously
You would think there are much more profound, real-life problems needing solving than stopping kids from buying markers. Slowly but surely people in north america will create their own form of communistic and totalitarian regine, one much worse than ever existed before. These are the first steps. Imagine how far this crap can go in 20, 50, 100 years... |

it just blows my mind that someone is SO stupid...so misguided...so clearly out of touch with what is important.
imagine this...that dick and the others are sitting there with a big grin on their faces...so proud of this "accomplishment"...thinking they've done some incredibly meaningful work for the people of London.
THAT is what scares me, lol...wow. |
