I think the best way to go is a good mix with mostly newer trance but throw in a great oldie ( a growd lifter ) that everyone in the place knows.

agree
a good mix would be the best...

its pretty obvious that trance like it has been in 199-2000 will be classic forever and the things that are being made now well, most of them will not be remembered when the year goes by
so in my opinion of course some classic oldish would be great but i think that djs should put some new tracks in their sets and thats what djs do...
look at tiesto,ferry...
they put classic old things in their tracks because todays things arent as good as the old...

its good to hear more of the newer trance at clubs..but then the dood would drop a oldie to get everyone wild..

When I'm in a club, I like to hear a healthy mix of both. There are just so many good oldies that it would be a serious crime to leave them in the past and forget about them! Besides, good oldies always get the crowd going cos they're tunes people know and like.

well if it was a choice of EITHER new or old trance.. then for sure i'd take the old stuff...

but of course hearing a mix of both is ideal.. more emphasis on the newer stuff, cos hows a style gonna progress if no-ones willing to experiment and play cutting edge stuff...
gOuRYeLLa~!
