| why dont you just use ur fork like a spoon and scoop up the croutons so they are on top of the fork, it can be a bit tricky but works for me. |

yea i usually end up doing that, but just the slightest nudge from a piece of lettuce can cause the crouton to fall off, which also frustrates me. |

aww jdat, i appreciate your crouton recipies! :)
i've never cooked croutons, but the homemade ones i've tasted were not crunchy enough for me. i like my croutons extra crunchy, and crunchy croutons means difficult to eat croutons. |

well you are a girl so it only makes sense you would be complicated! :p
It's possible to make them extra crunchy by putting them in the oven!
But them you have the issue with crouton breaking when insert of fork in said crouton.
You must compromise and find a good soft/hard ratio for your homemade croutons and then you will be a happy crouton muncher! |
