Guitar Center DJ Competition

My uncle gave me a call the other night and told me that Guitar Center is doing a DJ competition. You can sign up at any Guitar Center store. When I called them, the guy that I spoke to told me it can be any genre of music to spin. The full details couldn't be explained over the phone so I'm gonna go Friday to a store closer to my area and see what's up. I'll post more info on Friday.
The event will take place at a select Guitar Center in Queens.
The only other thing he told me is that the grand prize will be a new 2006 Scion xB

| its more of a scratch competition. Scratch Djs always win it i belive the last 2 years. Put it this way the liklyness that a trance or house DJ will win is slim to none |

| One of my best friends made it really far the last two years, he spins everything, been spinning for like 18 years or something like that. But yea, it's mostly turntablism that it comes down too. |
