The rush of adrenaline or dopamine or other such hormones is actually a natural and very healthy high. The body releases them to aid perception and efficiency when in the middle of a thrilling act. Naturally, this would be hunting for prey or running from a predator. Playing sports, going on rollercoasters, driving fast cars, playing paintball, skydiving and watching scary or thrilling films will all make your body give you a hit of hormones that will leave you feeling great and a lot more alive than sitting around watching a romantic comedy.

You have a point...but I guess not every experience is necessarily healthy for every person...There is a reason why people get heart attacks after watching movies like those...

Playing sports and doing adventurous things exercise you physically and mentally....but I dun think watching a movie is necessarily good for you unless you get to learn something from them....many movies are awesome...they can change your perspective about many things but horror movies about ghosts killing each other is not necessarily a healthy high imo.....

People with failing hearts do. People with failing hearts can have heart attacks taking a big or having sex, but does that mean you're gonna avoid both of those?

Fear = a rush for some people, like with me. Some people like to jump and stuff.

I was scared of the Exorcist when I was 8. I have since turned 12 and was no longer afraid of it.

saw? the ring?? those movies majorly suck. the good horror flicks are the cheaply made 80's horror/sci-fi. like:

hellraiser
evil dead 1, 2
poltergeist
dead again

and my favorite, from beyond

What was the "twist you have to see to believe" in Dark Water? I don't find much of an interst to rent or buy, but I'd just like it spoiled.

and Bag, you are my inverse. I loved Saw and The Ring. I hated the rest of those movies, especialy the porno series that Hellraiser became
