I'm looking for someone who wants to cooperate with me to make a track with reason. We could exchange ideas and create a good track.
Peter Campbell
I haven't seen you around here before, so I don't know,
and how would you work it?
Trancevision
Yes I am interested !

How could we make this ( sending the reason via Mail ?!).
Tell me about your plan.

we could send our files by mail...or by messenger ( msn )...im into uplifting trance and techno...so when do we begin?
DJ Teknique
i personally think its a ty idea because working on a track from 2 different locations won't really work....i mean lets say u have an idea and u record it then u send it to the another guy and he doesn't like it and he records his version which u hate..that means you hate each others ideas and by the time u get the one that u both like it will take time....working at the same time in the same place makes u work on the idea and get the one u like before u record it

my 2 cents so don't take it the wrong way
Trancevision
I think making a track via EMAIL works because two German "hobby producers" did this the same way and the finally got their track released on vinyl and it enterd the German DJ Playlist ( although it never became a famous track ).

There are some things we have to check:

1. Email Size: My E-Mail Box does not allow Mails beyond 800KB which
could be a problem if we use large samples.

2. How to begin: Do you already have a certain idea which you want to
get (re)mixed or do you have any famous track which be an example
which kind of track we could make: I like the style of DJ Tiesto
Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten, Kai Tracid...

Tell me what you think...
:)

I really really really think you don't know what you're talking about (based on your other thread). Not everyone can afford real hands on equipment. Plus, you are limited by it. Try out reaktor and tell me you can do that with any hardware synth.

I have:
A Roland RS-5
A Roland XP80
A Korg AE-1
A Korg Triton
A WALDORF Q
A Yamaha QY700 (Sequencer)
A Paia 4700

Would you like to tell me what I can't make with these that you can with reason?

Did I ever say that you couldn't make anything with hardware equipment? You seem to be relectant to use software... you think cubase, reason, recycle, sonar, etc. are bad. If they're bad why is software becoming so popular? Why do all pro studios have computers in them?

BTW, all that equipment is way way way over $10 000 Canadian. Last I checked reason wasn't that much. Go to nativeinstruments.com and get reaktor. Tell me if you can do that with your equipment. If you can, I'll apologize and say you won our "argument."

PS: at least we agree with each other about religion :)
