sigh...
it's rough seeing this. i don't know if any club will ever replicate such a cool vibe. from the first beat i was waiting to see if it was sasha or digz... and sure enough john is there. totally sounded like the s&d twilo sound... i caught them there the first time in jan of 2000....insane. pvd nights....even more insane. i always look for some good photos and vids from the club but they're really hard to come by. the atmosphere in that place was unreal with the lighting, crowd, djs and overall vibe...everchanging through the night.
i miss this place and the unbelievable times i had there :( |

saying 'avalon' does not give that away at all. avalon = original avalon in boston :p. the thread topic is about twilo, a club that shut it's doors 5 years ago now and it's life before that has huge historical significance in the dance music world. avalon has only been in ny for a few years... not to mention the fact that it sucks regardless of how many of your friends have heard of it. it's historical significance has ended long before it was ever avalon and since then it has no use being talked about in a thread about a legendary amazing venue called twilo! |
